Concerned Black Chick on the Right
Well today is my coming out party in the traditional sense, I am entering into the world of blogging. I am coming to my desk wondering why I am doing this. Sure I am full on rants and the occasional rave; but I have to admit I am filled with trepidation. My husband mentioned to me over the weekend that I should write my feelings so that I don't feel bottled up. I considered what he said just not something I would do. Although I enjoy reading blogs, I just didn't think it was me. I was reading Michelle Malkins website and I saw something that shocked me..." HOT CONSERVATIVE GALS OF THE BLOGOSPHERE, I didn't know what to think. I looked in and saw "The Cotillion" I was delighted, considering I had been a cotillionette years ago in Los Angeles and thought this was some new and fun ladylike group to join. Upon more examination I found a brand new world of similar minded women, what on earth could be better. So finding a cotillion and listing to my husband has brought me here and now I have debuted.
Today I was thinking about many of the issues that I get upset about and realized that I may be a bigoted person. I was a difficult assertion to discover because as my title suggests I am a black women and never thought I could be a bigot, but I may be wrong. I am anti illegal immigration of any racial or ethnic origin, I am against welfare for people who are not absolutely able to support themselves ( widows, children, mentally ill, or handicapped may be exempt from my no welfare rule), and state sponsored most anything. I was discussing this with a friend and she made the comment I was more racist than the Klan. This really hurt not just because I am black, therefore not a Klan favorite, but also because she was white. I was in a quandary, do I slap her for the Klan part or the racist part of her statement. I was at a loss, but I was pissy mad, I tried to explain my position and finally I remembered an Ann Coulter book and laughed, it is difficult to talk to liberal, so the conversation finally ended with I am not a bigot, I am just a Concerned Black Chick on the Right! So to avoid court costs and possibly knocking my friends head off, I decided to blog.

Thank you so much. Im very proud of the work you all do. Hopefully, more black people can "come out" as the conservatives that they really are. Thanks again, and please continue to read my blog, post your comments and share the word.
Thanks in advance!
